The police drama CSI and comedy Desperate Housewives were the big winners of the International TV Audience Awards, awards granted to the series of larger audience in the world.
The winners of the prize, which is in its third edition, were announced this Thursday (12 / 06) during the Monte Carlo Television Festival, held annually in the principality of Monaco. George Eads was awarded by CSI and Dana Delany by Desperate Housewives.
The International TV Audience Awards is still the category soap / soap opera, which was also won by an American production, the soap opera The Bold & the Beautiful.
This is the third consecutive time that CSI, Desperate Housewives and The Bold & the Beautiful win the prize.
The International TV Audience Awards is calculated by the sum of the hearing of the programmes in the five continents of the world

&bull 05 Oct. - Ask Ausiello: Question: I was wondering if you could give me some more spoilers for CSI.— Isabela
Ausiello: Producers are adding another new female character that sources say could stick around on a recurring basis. She’s described as an ex-mob wife in her early forties who entered the witness protection program with her son to escape the bad men. I have a strong hunch that this is for the mob-centric episode that William Friedkin is directing this November. I also have a strong hunch that this character may be coming on as a love interest for the newly single Grissom.
